Happy St. Nicholas Day!

Jolly ol' Saint Nicholas,
lean your ear this way!
Don't you tell a single dog
what I'm going to say:

Christmas Eve is coming soon;
Doggies have been good
We’ve had parties now and then
Muzzer said we could

We’ve been blogging every day
Sometimes it is hard
And we’ve each had lots of fun
Designing our cards

Now it’s time for you to bring
Gifts for every dog
There are lots of things we want
Write them in your log
Asta wants a pair of skates,
Butchy wants a sled
Maggie wants a picture book,
yellow, blue, and red
Ivy needs some doggy books
Peanut wants his dad
If you could deliver that
We would all be glad
Doggies who don’t have a home
Need a family
Lots of room to run and play
Places they can pee
Now I think I'll leave to you
what to give the rest
Choose for me, dear Santa Claus;
you will know the best.

My human said she had to memorize this St. Nick poem/song in school once.

Oh and I say we err on the side of being committed - Mom and I haven't worked this hard to have fun in years!!!

Gussie,

Is it safe to kiss Teka? Will she kiss and tell?

I may have had too much cider too.

Hiccup.

Hey Gussie, I can't imagine a dog singing that tune better than you. I hope you're recording it.
