It's beginning to smell a lot like Chex Mix
And Lasagna too
There's the scent of the Christmas Ham, and of the Baking Yams

Throughout the house upon this Christmas Eve

It's beginning to smell a lot like green beans
In their mushroom sauce
But the very best smell to me is the cinnamon you see

In my doggy bones

There's the sweet panettone and a lovely steak bone and

the smell as Pizzelle cook

Everything's cooking and muzzer is lookin

For new things in her books

In the living room

Where the holly and the tree and the scent of good old me

Make it smell like home
