More Soooooper Bowl stuff!

We are pleased to announce that Miss Asta K. (NY) has completed the Cheerleading Academy course in time to take charge of the cheerleading squad for the soooooper bowl game pawty!

Her intense training was not only physically demanding, but required great inter-species skills and tolerance. We feel that this will be extremely valuable in building a cheer team that embraces diversity and avoids favoritism. Cheerleaders will be cheering for good plays for BOTH teams, and to encourage BOTH teams to perform at their highest level in this impawtant contest.

Asta has agreed that cheerleaders may be from all breeds, sexes and species, and that they may select their own uniforms, with Asta and her Mommi maintaining veto power over uniform design.

If you are interested in being a pawty cheerleader, please contact Asta at http://astasworld.blogspot.com/ , she has a C-box where you can leave her a message.

More on our plans and schedule later today.

The only place we'll be cheering is from our family room! Dad is superstitious and he demands that we be home so no superbowl pawty for us :-(
We're sorry, Gussie! Go Giants!

Love ya lots

Congrats to Asta!!
Woohoo!!
And we'd love to be cheerleaders...but we heard the training is vigorous (although it pays off in the end) and we don't think we have the time.....
Have a great day Gus!

That is wonderful! I would love to join, but I am not agile enough. I'd probably kill myself.

Love and Koobuss Kisses,

Gussie Boy!

I myself am considering joining the cheer squad because my girl said I needed to do some things to stretch myself (so to speak), and I cannot imagine myself as a cheerleader. So, I thought I might give it a try.

Thanks for endorsing the squad, and for posting that fetching photo of my sweetpea Asta!

Goober love,
Stanley

Gussie,

We are in paw of all your preparations!!!

We hear you may have a big band for the swing pawty, and we'd like to join in and play. Just Harry may also sing, as he is wont to do in the wee hours of the morning.

If Dogdad will lend us his golf clubs, and if they fit on the egret (assuming he lives up to his agreement and returns in time for the trip), we may sign up for nine holes. We are experienced golf course runners and love, love, love the sand traps (unlike your average golfer)!!!
