news from the home front

The big news today is that this "innocent" little escape artist made a couple of more successful attempts to escape today, resulting in a conversation between Muzzer and Dad about electric fencing! Sheesh. What next, GPS? Working diligently, as always, yours truly has found the pawfect place for my photos of Miss Snickers.
See, in this next picture, I am pointing to my current favorite :)
And here they are in their glory...we are more limited here because most of the appliances are hiding behind wooden door thingies, so I can't tell the fridge from the bread drawer.
Other than that, it was a pretty boring day

Kisses
Gussie

Hmmm....I think an electric fence might be a good thing....escape artists can be an issue...especially that one!!!!!

Miss Snickers is so bootiful....(types Lacie wistfully....)

I'm not surprised you are completely e nam mored with her, Gussie....she could walk the catwalk in NYC if she wanted to leave I O Wa....

How's the unpackin' going???? Perhaps you could talk Muzzer into takin' ya out for ice cream for being good dogs...at least 50% of ya....

Sweet kissies to sweet Gussie...

Teka certainly is a stinker. Snickers sure is pretty - good thing you were able to find a good spot to display her photos.

Teka is a smart girl so its now up to muzzer and dad to find a way to out smart her.

Are you liking your new home so far, Gus?

Electric fence? Heck, if you need to electricute Teka you can do that right in the house without all the added expense.

Congrats on the lovely new home!

I understand Teka completely. Once you get a taste of freedom, it's hard to stay home. Mom's even talking about upping the juice on our electric fence after The Incident yesterday (of which we will not speak again).

Do you think Teka is trying to come back to AZ? If she is, tell her to wait until fall, its too hot here! I think its cool your appliances are hiding!

Gussie,

What a lucky dog you are to have such a beautiful sweetheart as Ms. Snickers.

We hope you find a solution for Ms. Escape Artist because we'd hate to think what could happen to her... and muzzer doesn't need the grief since she's trying to get things all nice for you.

Wirey woofs, pal!! Stay safe -- and cool (it's hotter where you are than it is here!!)

wowie! i sure hope your yard does not get fenced in with concertina wire and armed guards on towers to keep tek-scape-a in. that wud be not so nice, although it wud probably keep the skwerrels out of your yard pretty well!

We think the invisible fence is a great idea. We used to have one and it worked very well. That is...it worked for about 6 years until Poppy decided the trip outside the yard was worth the shock! We still have it, but it's turned off since we have a fence that you can see. Have a great week!

Gussie!

We are catching up on all your posts from Mayemphis! (Watch out! Once you pick up that accent it's hard to lose!)

Muzzer is an electromagnetic wizard! I am STINKIN' impressed that she self-installed Mr. Comcast! We can just picture your dad's hoomiliated face.

Is your new place a Craftsman home? My girl LOVES the backyard and the archie thing too. She said that art glass in the swingy door is gorgeous.

We're glad you found yourself some good places to hang photo of Miss Snickers. My girl thinks you have the cutest pointer she's ever seen!

Before this gets any more mushy, let me just say that as much as I grouse about Stella I'd be bummed if she ever got lost. So, by all means, get that electrofence if it will keep the Teka Toy safe!

My girl is going all gushy about you with the flowers and any photos of you at all. She's been going through withdrawl.

Goober love & smooches to you, Teka, Muzzer & your dad!
