HOOOOOMILIATING!

Me n' Teka were helping Muzzer in the Garden today. We were helping her get Al Jay off the fence and cobblestones. We barked a lot. We tried to grab the scrub brushes out of her hand. We grabbed that water that was comin' out of the hose. We generally were a big nuisance. It was a great time.

In the process, we got wet. We got muddy. Muzzer said we had Al Jay between our toes! Doesn't that sound like great fun to you?

My friends, let me tell you it was mawvelous.
Then I heard muzzer mutter "OK you two, you played, now you pay."
What followed was the most hoomiliating moments of my life.

Here are pictures of Muzzer and Teka

She bathed us outside.

Here is Teka in the rinse cycle

Here she is starting the spin cycle.

Gussie in spin cycle

Fluff and Fold and final spin.

This...after a week of not blogging for me, and cutting back on my treats again, and I am seriously considering of getting a new secretary. Sobered by my friend Koobuss' unsuccessful efforts, I plan to play the guilt card on E.Rabbit and see if she will help me. Don't tell her, OK?

Oh, poor Gussie and Teka. Trying to get a new secretary doensn't work. There is just no good help out there. I looked far and wide and you saw my list of applicants--a pretty pathetic bunch.

Looks to me like you had a wonderful time with Al Jay. I don't know anybody by that name, but he seems like he's a lot of fun.

You were also very helpful to Musser and for all your efforts, look what happened to you. You got a bath. Yuck! But ya know, that kind of bath looked like fun too. I've never had a bath outside with the hose. Maybe if I find some good mud or stinky stuff to roll in I will get a bath like that, too.
I wish.

Love and Koobuss Kisses,
Koobie

Fancy putting you through a whole wash cycle outside!

Hope you kept your collars on that would have been the ultimate embarassment being bathed in the nude!!

OMG, how awful that the two of you got sprayed down like you were a pair of dirty old boots! Did you even get warm water or was it ice cold?
The humiliation of it all!

Hi, Gussie...

My Mom was wondering if Al Jay was a new member of your family for a minute...

Then she figured it out...Humans don't always speak our language...'Ya know??

Hope the bath wasn't too bad...

We're in need of a new secretary too -- but hopefully one that wouldn't think an outside bath was appropriate.

Pawthetic, that's all we have to say.

Al Jay, eh? I wonder if he is related to my J.Ape? I will try to squish him between my toes to see what happens.

I've missed you this last week. We really need to send our apes off to obedience school so they listen to us and can better cater to our needs.

THE SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED TO US YESTERDAY. And yes we're YELLING. The NERVE of some Servants. She GOT SIX OF US. (Mama Pajama and Delia saw the towels and hid, and Sammy just got a bath to do his therapy visit.)
If you find a good Servant see if they could take on some whippets too. Just nine. Or so.

I try to help with the gardening too and am under appreciated. That spin dry move looks quite handy. I am going to have to try it.

Oh, the humiliation! Sometimes we get baths like that too. Mom says it's easier than fighting us in the bathtub, but we think the water is too cold!

He,hee, those photies of you in the final spin cycle made me giggle but crickey hope it wasn't the prewash and looooong wash cycle Muzzer put you through was it? Muzzer must of used some of that dryer conditioner stuff too Gus cos you do look sort of fluffy.

Hope you can get E rabbit to help. Ask if she has anymore Rabbits - (cos we know how quickly them rabbits clone themselves)perhaps one and a spare for me?

Muzzer has no shame. Making you get naked out where the public would be able to see you. DOn't they have laws against that in Memphis?

Hey, Gussie!

I think I'd like to try that spin cycle. Looks like a hoot and a half.

During the summer I often have to suffer the indignity of a bath al fresco (my girl can't get me to get into the tub, unless of course, she doesn't want me in there... then I go in frequently).

I hope Ms Snickers is feeling better with you by her side. How could she NOT?

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley

She bathed you outside? Did you get to air-dry, too? That sounds a bit nicer than the T-U-B that we endure here. At least on a sunny day. Wintertime, I'm not so sure...
