Christmas Card Shoot Session

Yesterday was the day for our photo session - ya know..the one
for the DWB Schmauss Cards

Actually, it was s'posed to be Monday of this week. My sissie even
brought our Schmauss outfits from DeeSee. OOPS. When we tried
them on, the ones she brought from DeeSee were too little! Imagine that!!

So she and muzzer took them back to the major retailer, which fortunately has
a store in Mayemphis, and exchanged them for larger sizes.

This meant that me and Teka were the brunt of jokes for more than 48 hours,
until E.Rabbit went home yesterday.

I am NOT FAT. I am Substantial.
Teka says she is Ruebenesque. But I really don't understand
why she wants to be like a corned beef sandwich.

Anyway - the picture above is my favorite.
It reflects my attitude toward this adventure
and my feeling of degradation and dehumanization
when I am dressed in silly things. Sheesh. My
dignity is imperiled.
Needless to say, this photo will not be seen on any of our
Christmas greeting cards. Muzzer has spoken.
Happy Advent, a season of penance and reflection
Gussie

Tell Teka the words more to love and/or voluptuous work!

Or at least that is what my mom says...

Gussie and Teka,

You guys look great. My mom would never get that far trying to put something like that on me! I would wiggle until we were both exhausted. She would give up and I would win. It always works that way. Hehehe

Love and Koobuss Kisses,

We like big boned - or slow metabolism. Why do humans dress us up? D is going to bring out the Santa's hat and antlers this year - does the torture never stop?

We KNOW you're not fat, Gussie. BTW, maybe Teka said she would LIKE a corned beef sandwich!

Gussie, I think you and Teka are of perfect proportions. My new sweater that I just got is a LARGE! I am just a wee little pug! Oh well. I cut the tag out and I'm telling everyone it's a small. You should do that!

Dear Gus,

Your brave protest against unreasonable beauty standards is quite admirable.

You look thoroughly unamused. Thank dog our holiday picture does NOT involve outfits.

Poor Gussie, poor Teka. And now we are all wanting a corned beef sammich!
After getting so many cards last year, and everything happening so we got none out, we did not sign up this year. Mom says next year maybe things will be where we can.
mmmuuuaahh to all of y'all.
Hugs

Hee hee. That photo was like trying to find Bae Bae the hamster on Peek-a-Boo Fridays. Is that your nose poking out?
