carol of the year!

I consider myself to be a lover of great Christmas Carols.

But did you know that there was a gentleman who picked a semi-official "carol of the year" for 25 years? His name was William Studwell, and he died this past August, but not before researching and picking his final official Carol.

We are including two links to stories about him. The first is from NPR (yeah. like you couldn't guess, right?) and the second is from the Chicago Tribune .

So, the carol of the year for 2010 is (drumroll please Teka!)

We Wish you a Merry Christmas.

(OK, stop the drums already!)

It is truly difficult to improve on this song, so we give you:

We Wish You a Merry Christmas
We Wish you a Merry Christmas
We Wish you a Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year
Good Tidings to you,
Where ever You are
Glad Tidings for Christmas
And a Happy New Year.
