Breakfast!

Based on the idea that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day....Here is our menu for breakfast this morning. Of course, I had to drag muzzer away from DWB chat, or it would've ended up being lunch!
Bananas Foster! (life is uncertain, eat dessert first)
Crepes Fitzgerald
Mimosas ( a cranberry version was available for those allergic to citrus.)
Beignets (oh my the house smelled wonderful!)
And eggs. Eight dozen of them got poached with all four burners going. You know, those airedales can pack it away! Course, they are three times bigger than me, but the real marvel at breakfast was Tanner! He managed to polish off a dozen and a half all by himself.

Once the poaching was finished, the eggies became Eggs Nouvelle Orleans, with lump crabmeat and a brandy cream sauce. For those dogs who are shellfish sensitive, muzzer made them with bacon that Sophie la Brador brought with her, and there was a vegemarian version too. Who would have guessed doggies would like crabmeat so well.

Well, we are off to the NFL Experience and THE GAME. WAIT TIL YOU GUYS SEE HOW LACIE IS DRESSED!!!!!! (I THOUGHT MUZZER WAS GONNA LOCK HER IN THE BATHROOM!)

KISSIES

I was never much of an egg dog, but then again, my mom never made them that way either. Your Eggs Nouvelle Orleans have changed my opinion of eggs forever!

Thank You for being such wonderful hosts, guys! You sure know how to throw a great pawty!!

Muzzer...she is soooo grounded...except she seemed to get off Aire Ruby in Boston and is hiding in Agatha's bomb shelter...kissing Archie and passin' him kleenex. (The kissin' is only out of sympathay for the loss....)

I had such a sweet outfit picked for her. I sent it to State College for Big Bruvver to make some small alterations...he is quite the alterator. Hopefully, this is just a teenage stage she's going through.

Mortified barks...

Tell your muzzer she makes the best breakfast. Really our mom doesn't cook half as well.

Gussie,

We just want to thank you and Muzzer -- and Teka Toy too -- for everything you did to make this a spectacular weekend.

You deserve plawdits from all over the world!!!

As we told Joey and Tanner, JH now thinks he is Eli Manning and E.C. Bird wants to be a dog in his next life.

What more can I say?

What a pawsome breakfast! Can we send our mom to your house for cooking lessons? She does great on holiday meals like Thanksgiving & Christmas, but the best thing we ever get for breakfast is fruit pizza. It's really good, but she only makes it 2 or 3 times a year. Oh, yeah, you're right...us Airedale can really pack away the food!

Aire-hugs,
Poppy & Penny
