Muzzer is back from St. Loulis.
She promised us that she won't be going back there until the middle of October, and there is a chance that we can go along.
Then in November, we get to go along to help celebrate Aunt Marie's 95th Barkday. Wow. In dog years, that makes her reallllly old!
Like, more than 650 I think. I better be nicer to her. I bet she knows lots of stuff she can tell me.
Anyway...except for a trip with Dad at the end of September, I think muzzer will be behaving herself for a while.
That is good.
She also brought home three boxes of dog cookies from Trader Joe, and also some beefy rolls, and also some jerky strips and Chicken thingies.
That is good.
So I decided that I would only post a mildly hooomiliating picture of her.
This was taken in 1985, on Easter Sunday.
My muzzer is 39. My dad is 37. My sissie E.Beth (Muzzer is holding on to her so she doesn't run away) is just a little over a year old. My sissie E.Rabbit is eight years old.
Muzzer got rid of the dress a long time ago. Dad probably still has the blazer. E.Rabbit and E.Beth are both much bigger, so their clothes don't fit them any more.
That is one thing about having dogs instead of daughters. Muzzer says she saves a lot of money on clothes, even though my bow ties can get expensive.
Just wait til she gets the college bills for Teka.

PeeEssWoo: Woo SO have a way with the girrrrls in your life!
I think Muzzer and E. Rabbit look pretty good in that photo, but dad and E. Beth, um, not as good.
That was like a thousand years ago, huh? Another good things about dogs is that you can leave them home alone and nobody calls DSS.

Hi Gus & Teka!
Glad that Muzzer will finally be staying home for a while. You should be happy. And great news about you guys maybe going with her the next time!
Nice family picture from 1985. That was all the way back in the last century!! Yikes!
Best of luck to Aunt Marie! She sure is remarkable.
Love and Koobuss Kisses,
Koobie
pee ess I think that my mom is the same age as your Dad. Frightening.
What a great photo. Your muzzer looks beautiful -- and we see the resemblance with a recent post of E. Rabbit.
September? This is September. And there are games to watch and paws to cross and hopes to cherish!!! No time for trips --
Wirey love,
Jake and Just Harry
What neat treats to eat. Yea, your mommy is home to spend time with you.
I sure love spending time with my Mommy.

P.S. Tell Teka I'm planing my wedding, and she must be a bridesmaid.
BOL! What a great photo!
I say that doggies are a lot less expensive than fur children... no grad school, no cars, no weddings... but that should not be an excuse to spend less on us... we can always use extra toys!
Mom says I cost her big bucks, what with my allergies and landscaping projects and such, but probably not nearly as much our kids. And they don't even dig holes in the yard.
Happy Tails,
William Tell
Welcome home!!! What a lovely picture of everyone..PL2 says she can barely remember 39 and she is afraid to look at any pictures because she knows she would scream with laughter at herself!! By the way which college did Teka finally choose?? And we agree with Tell...really can chilren dig as well as we can? I think not....
Hey Gussie and Teka!! We have missed you so much, but mom says we are going to try our hardest to get back in the groove. I told her, MOM there isn't try-there's DO. Maybe she listened to me since I am the brains. Anyhow, uh, Mom says nice pic, and she hates to think back quite that far....apparently she does not have the guts muzzer has!! (Also, I think she's 145 or something like that. Not sure) Love the suit too. And YES. Those human kids=mom says $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Hugs
Sunny
Very glad that Muzzer is back! That is a great pho-to. I agree that human pups are so expensive and they don't always clean their plate and they don't even have the good sense to do their business outside.
The size difference between your parents is roughly that between me and the peppy sheppys. I think your muzzer gets to be an honorary corgador.
wally t.
ps. The first dog got NO BATH because he had the good sense not to get skunky!
Hi, Gussie...
I'm glad Muzzer got home...I bet she missed you & Teka...
What a nice picture...I think my Dad still has a suit from 1985, too...
Abby xxxooo
WOW! Our dad says that he was 39 in May of 1985. Don't tell your dad but our dad says your mom is a fox. Does that mean that the muzzer has a musky stink like the foxes around here? We always know when they've been in the woods next to the paddock. You post splains why the muzzer always knows the stuff in his supposedly witty comments. True baby boomers he says.
