I'll be home.....

Dear Sweet Asta wrote and requested this song. We feel bad, because there aren't many changes we can make...we think it is an almost pawfect song.

So, we are dedicating this to Asta and her Mommi, for all of our blogger friends who are travelling, with their furever family, or waiting at the doggie hotel this year, and for doggies who are still waiting to find "home" and the people who live there:

I'll be home for Christmas

You can count on me

Don't need snow and mistletoe

Or presents under the tree

Christmas Eve will find me

Where the love light beams

I'll be home for Christmas

If only in my dreams

Christmas Eve will find me

Where the love light beams

I'll be home for Christmas

If only in my dreams

Sheesh. Momma is such a sap. She is getting a little leaky just reading the words. I guess she is thinking about Angus, Pi, and Raja who are celebrating the holidays over the Rainbow Bridge.

Our mom is a sap too Mango. She is thinking of those here that we love that we will not see and all those in heaven. We just know our doggies at the bridge have hooked up with gramma and grampa and are having what must be an awesomest Christmas. Christmas in heaven? wow. We think mom wishes she could just peek in for a minute.
Geeez, now she is starting to blubber, so I will go find the industrial strenght kleenex for her. Sweet Asta looks so lovely writing in her festive Jammies.
Hugs to you Gussie, to miss Teka toy and of course Muzzer and the prof.
Shhesh Mom, blow already....
