OK, here are some pictoors of the sooooprise

Okay, so yestiday was the Muzzer's barkday
And me and Dad and Teka got into our car and
we drove to Fredricksburg VA where we were
'sposed to meet E.Rabbit. So....when we go there
we found E.Rabbit's little car, but no E.Rabbit!

We knew it was her car, because we recognized the
Tribble on the dash board. note: when this was
my Dad's car, he didn't allow no tribble to
dribble on the dash board!
But, there was a verry nice field behind the
place where lunch was to happen.

So me and Dad and Teka went for a walk and a
whoooooole lot of sniffs.

And then E.Rabbit came back to the car, and the
hoomans did that kiss/kiss, hug/hug thing that
is so important to them, and then we went
to walk around Fredricksburg

Which seems to be a very dog friendly
town...lots of places had these signs in the
windows. And we got to see a little bit of
the place, including:
This VERY large dog pulling a cart full of hoomans.
NO NO, muzzer says that is a HORSE. Sorry.
I was thinking it was an even bigger dog than Mango!
So, pretty soon me and Teka got in trouble with Dad and had
to go back to the car, because we tried to mix it up
with a BIIIIGGGG black doggie.
Then the humans had lunch, they went
and walked some more, and I had to wait until
we got home to see Muzzer's birthday pressies.
And we didn't get to see Miss Ivy or her people in their CROP
walk around that sweet town, because me and Teka were
being obstreptfourus, or something. And we did the
hug/hug, kiss/kiss thing and headed home.
Boy, was I disappointed in these pressies!

Dad asked muzzer last week what she wanted
for her birthday, and she told him she wanted THIS
GUY to come and consult about me and TEKA.
And that was before we was obsrepterfourus, or whatever.

Then E. Rabbitt brought her some Chocolates, and some

And these lovely things with Wirey Dogs on them

And these silly things....which I thought might be
a new bathing suit top for Teka

Or maybe matching hell mutts for me and Teka
But which turn out to be Eggie Poachers!
Go Figure!
And if I ever get to try one of the Poached Eggies,
I will let you know if it works.
However, if me and Teka keep being Obswhatever
it could be a long time before I see another treat.
Reporting from the pillow beneath the desk.

Gus and Teka - Ranger here. I'm sorry to hear that you have been unfairly blamed for "starting something" with a big, black dog when clearly, you were simply trying to give him pointers on proper dog behavior. This is a common problem with humans - incorrectly putting the blame on us terriers. Perhaps we should start an educational organization to help enlighten them.

Regardless, Mayzie and I both send your muzzer our warmest birthday greetings.

PeeS. Mayzie here! Happy birthday again, Muzzer! And go easy on Teka and Gussie. And I hope you have lots of yummy eggs!

We just had an obstreperous moment that left our mom all verklempt...

Some unknown person dared to knock at the door -- and we were so loud and intent on not letting the other one of us let mom open the door unless the first one of us got to it that we started snarling at each other, wouldn't let mom move us away from the door, knocked things over, until mom finally screeched to whomever it was : PLEASE GO AWAY!!!

Then she remembered the magic words: TREATS FOR DOGS. We quieted down with our treats. She was able to open the door and step outside but the person had disappeared.

All this by way of saying when your positive trainer gets done with Teka, mom hopes you will please send him/her down here to Flatland.

In the meantime, more wirey birthday wishes to muzzer.

Sounds it wasn't too bad a day, at least for the humans. And they shouldn't use big words like that obstreperwhatever - how are you supposed to know what you did wrong? We sure hope it doesn't mean no poached eggs - yummers.

More birthday wishes to the muzzer.

I especially love the photo of you all dolled up and standing with your mama. You look good fancy.

Can't wait to hear how your "consultant" fares with Gussie & Teka. My girl is totally looking forward to your color commentary on your consultation.

Hey Gussie. Happy barkday to your Muzzer. very cool you are close enough to meet E rabbit. Do you reckon she keeps her car in a burrow? The signs were smashing, you are the perfect model Gussie.

I'm wagging you had a little paddy over the black lab...makes me look not so bad. Thanking you kindly. You know I even had some horrid stooge black lab to practise with, one to one with the trainer for weeks to get me over my fear of 'em. Do you think it worked Gussie???Hope that little tale of mine gives you n Teka encouragement for your new trainer. We are terriers tell him. Though with a name like his he can't be all that bad even if he can't spell his name proper.

Wiry love Eric xxxxx

Well, Gussie and Teka, after all that, it sure didn't turn out so well for you guys. Beware of those self-help books, especially when they are about you. They are trouble.

Hope things improve for you soon.

Love and Lots of Koobuss Kisses,

pee ess A belated Happy Barkday to Muzzer!

sorry we are late for your bday Muzzer... HAPPY B DAY! we must soon rectify this internets thingy(and now yesterday mom took in her blanketyblank blackberry and the "helpful man took off the way we could get to Facebook...*sigh*AND the app we used for weather in various places and news updates *sigh* again)
mom has never seen that kind of egg poacherand is intrigued as to how it works. microwave?drop into boiling water? she loves poached eggs very much and with all the trouble with the teeth situation< is easy to eat!
mom says with all the offers since we are not existing customers, and since this place is already wired for verison fios, tv and home phone she can save over the cell phone Just trying to figure out if the penalty for stopping sprint contract will kill us AND math takes her awhile. Soon, but we have been hearing that for awhile. BUT the offers keep going down in price. sooo....
sorry for the long comment, but it has been Forever!
Big ol Texas Hugs from all of us
