We just visited over at Nanook and Pooka's blog(http://nanookthenewfy.blogspot.com/) and read this story about Archie, a therapy dog in need of an operation. That is his picture with one of the abused children he lives and works with. He needs an operation, and the home where he lives is short on funding for vet fees. Yes, Nanook and Pooka have a link where you can contribute to a fund to help pay for his operation. And yes, me and muzzer made a contribution in Oscar's memory, And yes, you can do that too.

There's a dog in my neighborhood who walks himself (he holds the leash while his owner strolls behind). I always yell at him. I'm a stickler for the rules. Only I should get to walk leash-free.

Hey Gussie...thanks for the info on this great dog. We'll be glad to help! Lacie might be able to do therapy work someday, but I don't think it's quite my cuppa tea as heaven help us if somebody touched my paws and claws. Not pretty. Hey Man...didn't mean to pull on over on you...if Toad has another pawty, wanna come??? Scruffy PS bring munchies.
