Hold Him in Your Hearts

Giacomino, beloved patriarch and wise old man of the whippet waggle, left us today to play at the Bridge. Join us in sending warm and loving thoughts to Patience and Bill and the other members of the waggle to support them in their loss.

Gussie,

We expected to find different news when we checked your blog -- but found this.

We've taken the photo hope you don'it mnd. Remember, we actually sniffed him.

This is so so sad -- particularly after all that has occurred in their lives recently.

Thanks for telling us. We didn't know Giacomino but that doesn't matter because he was a canine brother. We will howl to DOG tonight and ask that he welcome Giacomino to The Rainbow Bridge dog park.

Gussie!

Thanks for letting us know about Giacomino. He was as noble as they come. What a good boy he was.

We've been missing you, as my girl is in the final days of her thesis crunch. She should be all done by the 29th of this month. Still has a little over 1 chapter to go, and the defense is on the 24th! AAGGHH!

Goober love,
Stanley

Awww. Thank you for posting this.

This is such a small world. Mom was introduced to Patience by Mom's sister Judith, a whippet mom - gone2thedogs2.blogspot.com ) - when Mom's wire Molly was aging and nearing death. Without ever meeting, she provided some calm comfort. Now, here we are, surrounded by new good friends who've known Patience and Giacomino long before we did. And we've been given the opportunity to mourn the loss of another wonderful dog, loved by a wonderful woman.

Thank you for the tribute. It allowed us to be part of the family.

Love,
Jake, Fergi and their people
