We were Cheated!

Sigh....we are not happy with our snowstorm.

We want to return it as soon as possible so we can shop for a replacement.

The snow we showed ya yesterday. That was it.

Oh, yeah. There is about 3/4 of an inch of snizzle on top of it. And walkies were more of an adventure this morning than they were last night.

But this is not something we can play in. Ummm...unless you call sliding down the ice into the back yard "playing."

Me and Teka are bummed.

We hope your weather is more fun than ours turned out to be.

It is even cold here in the south. No snow here, but it is cold and wet here.

Oh Gussie...now you make sure you dig your toenails in tightly when you do walkies...and make sure Muzzer does too...Mumsie's had to take care of waaaaaaaay too many busted leggies and things this year...that ice is awful...

We just talked to Sissy in Charlotte...they have four inches of snow with lotsa ice...she said her three kitties are most dismayed and refoose to set paw outside...

Frankly, we're sick of the whole snow and ice thing...I'm busy working on my Valentine's...it's gonna take at least two weeks to get them out to all my boyfriends...sheesch...

We three were just down in the basement playin' with Mumsie when both Scruffy and I had a code brown on the carpet...the carpets were just cleaned this week. They smell soooo much better now...

Kisses,

Hi Gus! We heard about your snow and I was preparing an air lift and my ape said that would probably be unnecessary. We have a little bit of the white stuff. Just enough for eating.

We got about an inch out of this storm but it is really cold here. That snizzle is no fun at all, makes for lots of slipping and sliding. You all be careful out there and the humans too.

We're sorry you were cheated! If it's going to be THIS cold, the least it could do is a decent job of snowing! I'm just sayin'...! Better luck next time!

Oh, guys. I am so sorry for you. But sometimes these things happen. You never know. Sometimes they tell you that you are going to have twenty inches of snow and then you only get half that. Sometimes they tell you that all you'll get is "flurries" and then you end up with ten inches of "flurries". I just can't understand it. Seems like they like to lie to us. Sheesh...

Hmm...Bruvver took his car to the wash today...his Penn State magnet came off inside the carwash...he got outta the car to retrieve it and fell flat on his face...he ran into the carwash, got the magnet and came back to his car AND fell flat on his face again...he said he musta provided serious comic relief for the people behind him waitin' to use the wash. Mumsie sez he takes after the other side of the family.

Dig your claws in...

Sorry guys, but evidently your snow was left here on top of our snow by mistake. We got a whole lot and we still haven't seen a county plow and it has been two whole days since it stoipped snowing. Y'all need to be careful on that ice. Slipping and sliing can lead to busted paws and stuff. You can stop by here for a week or so and play in all the snow that we've got in our back yard. bring Khyra along.

Gus! My Southern boy! Thanks for the kind words to keep me in your heart while I'm sick. Very smart not to keep me near your nose! "Shew-eeee" my Mom says. I am still quite pitiful. This is not cool, dude! I'll keep ya posted.

You know what? It wouldn't matter the weather. We're stuck inside. Seems Moma has deadlines she's dealing with, and we've taken the backseat. If we didn't like nappin' so much, we'd be complaining.

Be careful on that ice. Moma could've been one of those patients that Mumsie had. She fell on the slick stuff a few years ago and ended up a bionic woman. Yep. Be careful.

Still waiting for our next storm....with nothing in sight.

You rock, Gus! Just so you know! The Guiness is TOTALLY medicinal, man, totally! Gonna take it easy on all the rest...mmmm...Me thinks I may have dreams of corned beef and cabbage!

LOVE your blog on Don McLean's song... my Mom's an old soul and sings it all the time. Cool story, huh?

We need to get together and hang out at a pub---we'll just meet in the middle and toss a few back. You seem like a cool dude, man!
