It was kind of you to at least try out the doggie bed! Mine sits on the floor and holds all my toys, while I lounge on the "real" bed!

Told you if you tried it you might like it. Just make sure they understand, "It's an alternative. And it comes with certain conditions." Maybe they'll even put it over the radiator in the winter. (Now that's an idea ...)
It's COLD and wet here this morning. (Did I REALLY say that?) I think I'll go curl up in the blankets on the bed, seeing as how we never managed to fit that DogBed in the car.

Yay, Gussie! I'm glad you're starting to like your bed! They're awfully handy to have around when one needs a good snooze on the floor. Oh, and you looks very much handsome on it, too!

Good job, Gussie. At least you won't have to worry about bumping your head like Dad - he looked pretty zonked out there, but we were afraid he was going to hurt himself if he woke up too quickly.

Way to go, Gus!! I knew you'd like it. There's something to be said for your very own dog bed. They are the best place to hang out, especially if you take your bully stick with you. It doesn't get any better than that.
