Press Release

Teka Toy Dagger, of Memphis, TN, today demonstrated her ability to reach the kitchen counter, in the vicinity of the place mats.

It is assumed that she accomplished this using the (relatively) new stools, one of which was not returned to the appropriate position under the counter.

In conjunction with her adventure, Teka consumed half a bowl of campbell's low sodium chicken noodle soup, and one cracker, partially buttered.

The person responsible for leaving the stool out of place was reportedly answering a Dial America call soliciting funds for the Memphis Police Dept. benevolent fund, but was not available for further comment.

Teka's companion and sometime partner in her adventures, Gus Dagger w.f.t., had declined to participate in this effort, citing his fear of heights.

Well done, Teka! How do the Cambell Chicken Soup test? We have never tried that before, buttered cracker sounds yummy too. And I agree that the fault is not yours since someone has encouraged you to perform the stunts by making it possible for you.

We all know the REAL reason Gus didn't join Teka, we substantial wires have a problem jumping up to great heights, our very substantiality holds us back. But yes, Teka should have shared!!!

Oh Teka...first the fence and now THIS??

Campbells Noodle soup with crackers...

MMMMM MMMM GOOD!

Boy...that has a nice ring to it!!

Oh Teka...you keep us laughing and ur mom pullin' out her hair!

Mumsie's waitin' to see if Lacie gave her a black eye this morning. She (Lacie) was doing her usual Hairdryer Aerobics (ya won't catch Mumsie's heartie rate above 72 unless there's a fire...) and on one of her amazing 4 foot jumps caught the cord in her teeth...as usual and yanked the hairdryer with all of her body weight and gravity...right into Mumsie's forehead...ya know that little bone under ur eyebrow...

Wasn't pretty there in the bathroom for a while...never heard so many HBO words while a hooman was blowdrying....

Now Teka...it would be nice to toss Gussie a noodle or somethin'...you know just to stay on the good side of him when ur on the counter...

Love ya lots!

How well we remember what a stool/ chair not pushed under the counter/table represents in terms of gourmet opportunities. Do the words "scarfed nine pieces of Ghiardelli chocolate" recall one of Mr. Jake's adventures?

Glad you had some yummy soup and a cracker, Teka. It's a shame though that you didn't push the stool back so everyone would have wondered whodunit? and might have called in our wheelie alter egos Jacques Maigret and Justin Herkimer Clouseau --or Inspector Butcho -- to solve the crime!! Or did they catch you in the act?

Applaws, applaws, applaws!!!

Teka-
Way to steal that soup and cracker, I also fancy your healthful appetite--I bet you wouldn't have stolen regular sodium soup!

It's nice to meet you and Gus! I'll add you two to my fur friends list if that's ok!

Shadie.

I used to be a counter surfer but I find it is easier to just wait for the clumsy apes to drop things. And/or to just look unbearably cute.
