Look at the poor pansies.
They were fooled by the nice weather we've had
and had their little faces turning toward the sun.
Muzzer told me they might be OK.
Pansies are resiliant.
Hmmm....no one has been here since the snow started
Guess I will christen this layer
Here we are...home at last
Reminds me of a song I once knew
Some folks like the summertime,
When they can stroll about.
Strolling through the meadow green,
It’s pleasure there no doubt,
But give me the wintertime--
The snow is on the ground--
For I found her when the snow was on the ground.
Chorus: I traced her little footprints in the snow;
I traced her little footprints in the snow.
‘Member the day that Nellie lost her way,
For I found her when the snow was on the ground.
Went one night to see her;
It was a big round moon.
Her mother said she stepped out,
Would be returning soon.
I traced her little footprints,
And I found ‘em in the snow.
Found her when the snow was on the ground.
(Chorus)
Now she’s up in Heaven;
She’s with the angel band.
Someday I’ll go and see her
In that happy land.
Every time the snow falls,
It brings back memories,
For I found her when the snow was on the ground.
(Chorus)

At least you were lucky enough to get a walk, our Momster won't walk unless the pavement is bare - too afraid of falling. But she does say to tell you she loves that big porch on the front of your home.
Happy Friday, Phantom and Thunder
Your house looks so cozy! Stay warm!
Millie
Hey Gussie and Teka,
Your snow looks great! I loved your video. Now is the time for you to get your playing in since your snow probably won't last too long, not like where I live. We have better refrigeration up here.
Enjoy your storm, guys. Except for the cold temps, we're not getting any of this storm. It's all for you.
Love and Koobuss Kisses,
Koobie

PeeEssWoo: We have a khrazy flokhk of robins that have stayed around our neighbourhoods this year - boy howdy were their redbreasts puffed up/out on my afternoon walk when it was 20something that felt like ten!
The pansies look so sad!
Stay warm next to that beautifully warm fire, Gussie!

Gus, I'm goin' with ya, man! Love your blog! Thanks for followin' mine. I won't let you down...my shenanigans will keep you entertained. Stay tuned...
Yeah, we are not far from you. But, we got no snow at all. But, Mom still froze while taking me on my run for the morning...upon my insisting and NOT giving up. We terriers know how to get our way- stubborness!
I hope the weather will be better soon. Your dog is so cute. :)
Hey Gussie! You and Teka are really stylin' in your woolies. Though I'm sort of suprised you'll wear one. I have a wonderful woolly but only worn it once to actually WALK in. On it goes and nope, no walkies. Hope you got roasted chesnuts on the fire when you got home.
Wiry love Eric xx
